If you aren’t quite sure how to calcuate the size of tablecloth you will need to cover your table, it is fairly easy.

1. First – You need to determine the width  of your table.
2. Second – Most all tables are 30″ high.  So you will use this in your calculation for figuring what size tablecloth you will need.
3. You will need to determine is your table is round, rectangle, square, etc.

As an example…….

If your table is a 5′ or 60″ round table, you would begin your calculation with the diameter measurement of 60″.  Then add 30″ for one heighth of the table and another 30″ for the other side heighth of the table.

60″ + 30″ + 30″  = 120″

So if you wish to have the tablecloth go all the way to the floor on your 60″ round table, you would need a 120″ round tablecloth. 

Another example often confusing is tablecloth sizing for a rectangle table.  In this case you must determine both the width and length of the table.  See example below.

8′ rectangle table = 30″ wide and 96″ long

 If you wish to have the tablecloth go all the way to the floor all the way around just add 60″ to both the width and length of the table.

30″ + 60″  =  90″     96″ + 60″ = 156″

The tablecloth sizing  you would need for an 8′ rectangle table to go all the way to the floor would be a 90″ x 156″.
